Lewis Brisbois Expands National General Liability, Transportation Practices with New Partner Hire

Chicago, Ill./ Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. (July 26, 2021) – Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome seasoned trial attorney Michael Franz as a partner in its General Liability and Transportation Practices. Mr. Franz, who will work out of the firm's Chicago and Fort Lauderdale offices, joins Lewis Brisbois from a civil litigation defense law firm where his practice included business and transportation litigation, as well as extensive trial and arbitration in condominium/real estate, fraud, toxic/mass torts, and transportation law, including personal injury defense, wrongful death, and products liability litigation. He also has experience in insurance defense, insurance coverage, arson, consumer fraud, and warranty law actions.

A graduate of Michigan State University College of Law, Mr. Franz received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan. He is admitted to practice in Illinois, Florida, and Michigan.
