Lewis Brisbois Expands Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice with New Partner Hire in Chicago
Chicago, Ill. (December 27, 2021) – Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Todd M. Rowe to its Chicago office as a partner in the firm’s Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice. Mr. Rowe brings to Lewis Brisbois substantial experience in counseling clients on the potential for cyber risk liability, facilitating compliance with state and federal privacy laws, and managing responses to data breaches. He also has more than 20 years of experience involving a wide range of complex commercial disputes and business litigation. Mr. Rowe has written extensively on emerging threats in data privacy and information security, with particular attention to the manifestation of those threats in data privacy litigation. He has also spoken extensively on risk mitigation in cyber security.
Throughout his career, Mr. Rowe has leveraged experience gained while working on privacy issues within the insurance industry and with private clients. Insurers and brokers have called upon Mr. Rowe to serve on their panels providing cyber services to their insureds, to provide analysis of privacy claims under cyber and traditional lines of insurance coverage, and to monitor incident responses by insured’s private counsel. Private clients have relied on Mr. Rowe’s experience to assist with incident preparation.

Mr. Rowe received his J.D. from Marquette University Law School and a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Michigan University. He is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
