Lewis Brisbois' Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice Promotes Two Associates to Partner
Denver, Colo. (March 25, 2021) – Lewis Brisbois’ Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice is pleased to announce the promotion of Denver Associates Katie Butler and Alexis Kirkman to partner. These attorneys have consistently provided clients with the highest level of service, while also strengthening Lewis Brisbois’ Data Privacy & Cybersecurity team through their hard work and dedication.

Ms. Kirkman focuses her practice on data privacy and cybersecurity matters as well as on corporate compliance, government investigations, and civil litigation. She advises companies as they anticipate cybersecurity threats and assists them with complying with the requirements of state, federal, and international data breach notification statutes. Ms. Kirkman also represents businesses as they address data security incidents, external communications such as consumer or employee notifications, regulatory reporting, and related third party litigation. Recognized as a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals, Ms. Kirkman also holds Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US), Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E), and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) credentials.
