Webinar Series: Risk Transfer

Orange County, Calif. (January 3, 2022) – Lewis Brisbois is pleased to present our first webinar of 2023, “Risk Transfer,” taking place January 19 at 12 p.m. ET.

Houston Partner Sarah Smith, New Orleans Managing Partner Jenny Michel, and Los Angeles Partner Cameron Kalunian will discuss the conditions, law, and practical application of two critically important risk transfer vehicles. This informative program will be beneficial for insurance professionals who handle claims involving bodily injury, property damage claims, and/or construction disputes. CLE credits are available.

Ms. Smith is vice-chair of the Insurance Coverage/Bad Faith, and Marine & Energy Practices, and a member of the firm's Insurance Law Practice. She has a broad litigation background, with a focus on insurance coverage and bad faith, and routinely handles complex insurance coverage and bad faith matters, involving both commercial and personal lines.

Ms. Michel is the chair of Lewis Brisbois' Marine & Energy Practice, and co-chair of its London Market Group and Pollution Legal Liability/Environmental Impairment Liability (PLL/EIL) Practices. She has extensive experience in negotiation and litigation involving marine and energy contracts, including defense, indemnity, and additional insured demands, as well as a variety of first and third party coverage and bad faith matters.

Mr. Kalunian is vice-chair of the nationwide Construction Practice, and a member of the Complex Litigation Practice. His practice focuses on multi-party litigation in a wide variety of cases involving claims related to breach of contract, fraud, unfair business practices, real estate, construction defect disputes, and various tort claims.

Ms. Holm is co-chair of the firm's Professional Liability Practice, and vice-chair of its Product Liability Practice. Her specialty is Trial Practice in Professional, General, Employment, Transportation and Product Liability matters. She moderates all sessions that are part of this General Webinar series by Lewis Brisbois.
