Roanoke, Va. (November 20, 2023) – Northern Virginia/Baltimore Partner Kathryn Bonorchis and Roanoke Associate Sarah C. Jessee were recently elected to the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys (VADA) as At Large Directors for the 2023-2024 term.
VADA is a long-standing organization dedicated to the development and support of Virginia attorneys engaged in a civil defense practice in the professional and ethical representation of their clients through education, communication and fellowship.
“I am grateful for this opportunity to continue being a part of VADA’s leadership alongside my talented colleague Sarah, and look forward to working with the excellent group of attorneys who are part of this organization to put together educational CLE programs and events,” said Ms. Bonorchis on the new role.
Ms. Bonorchis is a member of the General Liability Practice. She works primarily in the areas of insurance defense litigation, with a focus on commercial, construction, architects and engineers, products liability, premises liability and personal injury matters. A substantial part of Kathryn’s career has included construction litigation, including catastrophic construction site accidents that involved serious injuries and death.
Ms. Jessee is a member of the Medical Malpractice Department. She focuses on the defense of medical malpractice as well as other civil litigation matters. Prior to private practice, Ms. Jessee interned for judges on the Court of Appeals of Virginia and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
