Thomas Moran to Moderate Webinar on Cyber Threats for Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association

Cleveland, Ohio (July 22, 2020) – Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Associate Thomas I. Moran will moderate a free webinar titled “Cyber Threats Targeting Practitioners and Clients During the COVID-19 Outbreak,” hosted by the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association on July 23 at 12:00 p.m. EST.

During this webinar, Mr. Moran and the panelists will discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic has created unique cyber threats, including phishing schemes that impersonate health officials and organizations, strategic password compromise, and other types of sophisticated fraud attacks. The conversation will also cover how to identify, combat, and respond to these increasing cyber threats.

Mr. Moran is an associate in Lewis Brisbois’ Cleveland office and currently serves as vice-chairman to the Cyber+ section of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
