Tessan Wess to Join Panel Discussing Limitations on Liability at OADC Virtual Fall Seminar

Portland, Ore. (November 10, 2020) – Portland Associate Tessan Wess will join a panel discussion at the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel’s (OADC) Virtual Fall Seminar, taking place November 16-19.  

Ms. Wess’ panel, titled “Limitations on Liability in a Post-Bagley and COVID World,” will begin at 12:00 p.m. PT on November 19. The panelists will address the evolution of exculpatory clauses after the Oregon Supreme Court decision in Bagley v. Mt. Bachelor, examining under what circumstances such clauses are enforced, the terms of an effective clause, and the future for liability waivers. 

Ms. Wess is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Products Liability and General Liability Practices. She has a strong background in coverage and bad faith litigation, construction defect, employment disputes, product liability and general liability litigation.
