Stacy Schwartz Appointed as Co-Chairperson of BCBA Intellectual Property Section

Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. (August 1, 2019) – Fort Lauderdale Partner Stacy M. Schwartz was recently appointed as Co-Chairperson of the Broward County Bar Association’s (BCBA) Intellectual Property Law Section. Ms. Schwartz has been an active member of the BCBA and has held numerous leadership positions within the organization. This appointment reflects her standing as a leader in the Broward County legal community.

In this role, Ms. Schwartz will work closely with BCBA staff to further knowledge and professionalism in the practice of law. Ms. Schwartz and other Section and Committee Chairpersons will be recognized at the BCBA’s Annual Board of Directors Retreat later this month. The appointment runs from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020.

Ms. Schwartz is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Complex Business & Commercial Litigation and Corporate Practices. She focuses on commercial business disputes, intellectual property, and technology matters. She is also trained and certified as a Florida Supreme Court Circuit Court Mediator.
