Sean Hoar to Speak on Cybersecurity Threats at Railroad Association General Counsel Symposium
Columbus, Ohio (September 27, 2019) – Portland Partner Sean Hoar will speak at the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association’s (ASLRRA) 2019 Finance & Administration and General Counsel Symposium in Columbus, Ohio on Thursday, October 10.
Mr. Hoar’s presentation, titled “Emerging Cybersecurity Threats: Measures to Keep Risk Between the Rails,” will begin at 1:15 p.m. and will discuss emerging online security threats affecting the transportation industry, including the associated costs, regulatory developments, and specific risk mitigation strategies organizations can implement. Additionally, Mr. Hoar will speak on the ethical obligations that general counsel experience during a data security incident.
