Sean Hoar & Stephen Turner to Present on Cybersecurity at CAC 102nd Annual Conference

North Hollywood, Calif. (September 26, 2019) –Portland Partner Sean B. Hoar and Los Angeles Partner Steven Turner will deliver a presentation on cybersecurity at the California Association of Collectors (CAC) 102nd Annual Conference, taking place in North Hollywood on October 7-9.

Their presentation, titled “Cybersecurity for Debt Collectors: Protecting Your Clients and Your Business," will begin at 1:45 p.m. on Monday, October 7. The discussion will cover trends in data security, the regulatory environment, financial implications, insurance implications, and more.

The CAC provides a platform for collection professionals across the country, including third-party collection agencies, creditors, asset buyers, attorneys, and vendor associates.

Mr. Hoar is the chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice and has extensive experience in managing responses to digital crises and remediating information security incidents. He is a frequent writer and presenter on cybersecurity and related topics.

Mr. Turner in chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Consumer Litigation Defense & Financial Services Practice and regularly represents financial institutions and professionals including collection agencies, credit grantors, and debt collection firms in a variety of consumer-related matters.
