Sarah Smith to Present on Bad Faith Law at ClaimsXchange Annual Conference

Philadelphia, Pa. (August 28, 2023) – Houston Partner Sarah Smith will speak at 2023 ClaimsXchange Annual Conference, hosted at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Philadelphia on October 12 at 10:15 a.m. ET.

This 60-minute presentation, titled “The One That Got Away: A Review of Bad Faith Claims and Strategies to Avoid Them,” will provide attendees with an update of bad faith law and an interactive discussion of firsthand experiences dealing with bad faith claims. Ms. Smith will be joined by Aisling Jumper (FAIRCO), Sandra Langolf (Kaufman Borgeest & Ryan), and Matthew Rabin (Arch Insurance Company).

Ms. Smith is vice-chair of the Insurance Coverage/Bad Faith, and Marine & Energy Practices, and a member of the firm's Insurance Law Practice. She has a broad litigation background, with a focus on insurance coverage and bad faith, and routinely handles complex insurance coverage and bad faith matters, involving both commercial and personal lines.
