San Francisco Team to Participate in ABOTA Masters in Trial Program

San Francisco, Calif. (September 19, 2023) – San Francisco Partner Michael G. Descalso will join the defense team at an upcoming trial program, hosted by the San Francisco chapter of The American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) at the Miton Marks Auditorium on October 26. He will be joined by Associate Salayha Ghoury, who will participate as a defense witness. 

This full day trial program, starting at 8:00 a.m. PT, will bring together some of the most experienced trial attorneys in California, who will offer key insights into presenting opening statements and closing arguments. San Francisco Superior County Judge Samuel Feng will oversee the mock trial case. 

Mr. Descalso is a member of the General Liability Practice. He has practiced solely in the field of litigation for the entirety of his thirty-plus year career. He specializes in general liability matters, including personal injury and commercial litigation, having defended his clients from multi-million dollar claims arising out of construction injuries, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, breach of contract, professional errors and omissions, habitability and other landlord tenant issues.

Ms. Ghoury is a member of the General Liability, Professional Liability, Product Liability, and Toxic Tort & Environmental Litigation Practices. She handles a variety of cases including those involving personal injury and commercial litigation, having defended her clients from multi-million dollar claims arising out of construction injuries, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, breach of contract, professional errors and omissions, fraud, habitability and other landlord/tenant issues.
