Roy Weatherup Quoted by The Recorder

Los Angeles Partner Roy Weatherup was recently quoted in an article by The Recorder titled “Court Frees Latham Lawyer from Malicious-Prosecution Case.”

The article covers the California Supreme Court’s finding that the defeat of summary judgment in an underlying case bars future claims alleging they engaged in malicious prosecution. Weatherup represented the carrier in the case and said the court’s decision “is very helpful to all prospective defendants who are threatened with malicious prosecution.” Read his full quote here.
