Pete Swayze to Join Two Webinars on Handling Personal Injury Cases
Philadelphia, Penn. (July 13, 2021) – Philadelphia Partner Walter (Pete) H. Swayze, III will join two upcoming panel discussions on handling personal injury cases. First, for a Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s (PBI) live webcast program titled “Maximizing Outcomes of Personal Injury Cases,” on Monday, July 26 at 1:30 p.m. ET, and then for a Sage Settlement Consulting virtual CLE series on Thursday, July 29 at 12:00 p.m. ET.
For the PBI webcast, Mr. Swayze's session is titled “Risk Creation v. Risk Management: Plaintiff and Defense Perspectives.” During the 60-minute discussion, he and his co-panelist will provide an overview of personal injury litigation and will address how to create risk on the plaintiffs’ side as well as how to manage risk on the defendants’ side.
For the Sage Settlement Consulting, Mr. Swayze will present "Settling a Catastrophic Case: Risk Creation vs. Risk Management," which will cover the same topics as the PBI webcast.
Mr. Swayze is co-chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Life Sciences Practice and vice-chair of its Products Liability Practice. He primarily concentrates his practice on defending clients facing claims of catastrophic injuries in products liability and complex litigation matters.
