Pete Swayze Quoted in Law360 Article About New Philadelphia Team of Attorneys

Philadelphia, PA (January 17, 2019) – Philadelphia Partner Walter “Pete” Swayze was recently quoted by Law360 in their article, “Lewis Brisbois Lands Segal McCambridge Team in Philly,” discussing his team’s recent arrival to the firm, which was announced in a press release on Friday, January 11.

As the new co-chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Life Sciences Practice, Mr. Swayze expressed his excitement to work alongside the practice’s other co-chair, John T. Salvucci, who is also the firm’s Philadelphia Managing Partner.

“The opportunity to join John Salvucci, who is one of the most accomplished life sciences lawyers that I know, and to bring my entire team with me to such a dynamic and growing firm was something that I couldn’t pass up,” said Mr. Swayze.

Mr. Swayze also stated that integrating his practice into Lewis Brisbois’ nationwide firm will allow him to represent clients in mass torts across a wider area.

“Clients are really looking to rightsize their legal teams, and that means trying to keep the number of law firms to a minimum and allowing lead counsel to manage from within,” Mr. Swayze said. “If that can be done by one firm, it seems to have more appeal to the client. Plus, the ability to integrate with some of the top lawyers in the country has a great appeal to me.”

Mr. Salvucci also noted that he is looking forward to the new team and the growth of Lewis Brisbois’ Philadelphia office.
