Peggy Beat to Discuss Data Privacy Best Practices for HCCA Online Presentation

Cleveland, Ohio (September 9, 2020) – Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Partner Peggy Beat will present a web conference titled “Decoding the Alphabet Soup of BAAs and CEs and ERM: A Lesson on Privacy Practices and Work Flows,” hosted by the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA), on September 24 at 12:00 p.m. CT.

During this 90-minute discussion, Ms. Beat will define covered entities and business associates in the context of data privacy, explain the process for risk management and third-party vendors as it relates to privacy and security, and describe possible processes and data flows for such entities.
