Paul C. Kuhnel to Join Virtual Panel on Handling Tricky Adversaries at VADA 2020 Annual Meeting

Roanoke, VA (September 17, 2020) – Roanoke Partner Paul C. Kuhnel will join a virtual panel discussion at the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys (VADA) 2020 Annual Meeting, being held on October 14 and 15 at The Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Virginia, and via webcast.

Mr. Kuhnel’s panel, titled “Ethics and Professionalism in the Heat of Battle: Taming a Tricky Adversary,” will begin at 3:00 p.m. ET on October 15. He will be joined by the Hon. Randall G. Johnson, Jr. of Henrico Circuit Court and the Hon. Deborah Welsh of Loudoun County General District Court. During this discussion, the panelists will share their insights and advice on dealing with non-responsive, uncooperative, or hostile opposing counsel while maintaining civility, professionalism, and respect.

Although all CLE presentations for this meeting will be delivered via webcast, registrants will still have the option to stay at The Homestead for in-person events, where they can view the webcasts together in a meeting room or from the comfort of their own guest room.

Mr. Kuhnel is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Medical Malpractice Department, as well as a seasoned trial attorney with considerable first chair jury experience. He was recently recognized by Best Lawyers as a "Lawyer of the Year" and is a past president of the Virginia chapter of the American Board of Trial Attorneys (ABOTA).
