Patricia Gary to Moderate ACEC Panel on Integrating Climate-Resilience into Critical Public Infrastructure
Boston, Mass. (August 7, 2023) – Boston Partner Patricia Gary will moderate a panel on integrating climate-resilience into critical public infrastructure, hosted by the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) on August 9 at 1:30 p.m. ET.
This informative 90-minute discussion, titled "Integrating Climate-Resilience Into Critical Public Infrastructure: Emerging Trends In Design, Risk Mitigation, and Insurance," will provide insights on how insurance companies use cat modeling software to model hazard, vulnerability, exposure and loss from climate change events to quantify adaptation measures and assess mitigation efforts. Ms. Gary will be joined by a panel of experts, who will discuss critical highway transportation infrastructure's is vulnerability to climate change, and how forward-thinking transportation professionals are addressing climate risks.
