Pamela Palpallatoc to Discuss Common Wage & Hour Pitfalls at Workers' Compensation & Risk Conference

Orange County, Calif. (August 31, 2021) - Orange County Partner Pamela Palpallatoc will serve as a panelist at the Workers' Compensation & Risk Conference (WCRC), taking place September 7 to September 10 at the Waldorf Astoria Beach Resort in Dana Point, California. Ms. Palpallatoc's session, titled "Gimme a Break! And Other Common Wage & Hour Pitfalls," will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8.

During this one-hour discussion, Ms. Palpallatoc and her co-panelist will cover the most common wage and hour causes of action and what plaintiffs' attorneys look for when filing an action. They will also provide a general overview of claims under the California Labor Code, such as unpaid minimum wage, overtime, meal and rest breaks, and more, and how to avoid them.

The WCRC features a slate of expert panelists speaking on a wide range of issues impacting the workers' compensation and risk management industries, as well as various networking opportunities including a golf tournament. Lewis Brisbois is a proud sponsor of this event.

Ms. Palpallatoc is a member of Lewis Brisbois' Labor & Employment Practice.
