Orange County Team to Present at OCBA Healthcare Law Meeting on COVID-19 PREP Act

Orange County, Calif. (September 11, 2023) - Orange County Partner Matthew Cox will present on the COVID-19 PREP Act at the upcoming Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) Health Care Law Section Meeting, moderated by Associate Laura Lopez on September 14 at 12:00 p.m. PT.

In this informative 60-minute session titled "COVID-19 PREP Act, What Every Health Care Litigator Needs to Know," attendees will learn about the how to use immunities strategically in health care litigation as well as understand the application and procedural requirements for immunities under the federal PREP Act. The discussion will cover the statutory scheme and compensation program under the PREP Act. CLE credits are available.
