Monica Nelson to Participate in Edward Gallogly Inn of Court Mindfulness and Lawyering Seminar

Providence, R.I. (April 22, 2022) – Providence Partner Monica R. Nelson will participate in the upcoming Edward Gallogly Inn of Court "Mindfulness and Lawyering" seminar, hosted at The Marriott Hotel in Providence on May 12 at 5:30 p.m. ET.  

The seminar will provide strategies for what lawyers can do outside of their practice to become stronger advocates for their clients, featuring panels including retired Chief Justice Frank Williams and Roger Williams University School of Law Professor of Experiential Education and Trial Advocacy David Zlotnick. As part of the mindfulness portion of the event to help attorneys be more present, empathetic, and emotionally aware, Ms. Nelson will lead two 30-minute yoga sessions, at 4:15 p.m. and 4:50 p.m. ET. CLE credits are available. 

Ms. Nelson is a member of the firm’s Asbestos Litigation and Toxic Tort & Environmental Litigation Practices. She has extensive litigation experience, including in challenging catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, and has effectively used her research, writing, and oral advocacy skills to resolve numerous and diverse matters in the state and federal courts of Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
