Michael Grace Speaks on Legal Podcast to Discuss CARES Act

Washington, D.C. (April 14, 2020) - Washington D.C. Partner Michael J. Grace spoke on Legal Talk Network’s “Legal Talk Today” podcast to discuss the recently passed Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Specifically, Mr. Grace covered the stimulus payments and unemployment benefits for which individuals are eligible.

In the 10-minute episode, Mr. Grace explained the qualifications and requirements individuals need to meet in order to receive the monthly stimulus payments provided by the CARES Act, as well as the caps on such payments. He also touched on how individuals can apply for the expanded unemployment benefits available under the Act, and how those benefits may interact with existing unemployment benefits among the individual states.

Mr. Grace, a member of Lewis Brisbois Corporate Practice, focuses on tax law.
