Matthew Cueter, Greg Katz Author Personal Injury Chapter of NYCLA’s 5th Edition Commercial Litigation Treatise
New York, N.Y. (December 15, 2020) – New York Partner Matthew P. Cueter and New York Managing Partner Gregory S. Katz recently authored the Personal Injury chapter in the Fifth Edition of the ten-volume treatise, “Commercial Litigation in New York State Courts,” published by the New York County Lawyers Association (NYCLA) and Thomson Reuters.
The Fifth Edition of the treatise, which is now available in print and on Westlaw, includes analyses regarding the interplay between rules of procedure and substantive law as well as discussions concerning hundreds of cases and statutes. The authors discuss effective strategies for representing clients during all stages of litigation and provide useful insights on how to approach a variety of cases.
In recognition of the significant effort devoted to the development of this comprehensive publication, Messrs. Katz and Cueter and the other authors of the treatise will receive the NYCLA Conspicuous Service Award at NYCLA’s Virtual Awards Celebration, “Celebrating Diversity and Service in the Legal Profession,” taking place on January 13, 2021.
Mr. Cueter is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ General Liability Practice. He focuses his practice in the areas of construction defect, premises liability, product liability, and labor law litigation.
Mr. Katz is a chair of the General Liability and Transportation Practices, and also formed and oversees the firm’s 24/7 Rapid Response On-Call Transportation Team and its National Trial Practice Team. He has over 20 years of experience in defending cases in state and federal Court.
