Mark Yost to Participate in Beacon Institute 2020 Virtual Fall Summit Webinar Series
Baltimore, Md. (August 24, 2020) – Baltimore Partner Mark A. Yost will participate in The Beacon Institute's 2020 Virtual Fall Summit. This six-day event will take place in two segments, from September 29 to October 1, and then from October 13 to 15.
Mr. Yost’s webinar presentation, titled “Skilled Nursing Facility Survey & Enforcement Development,” will begin at 8:30 a.m. EDT on Day 2, Wednesday, September 30. Mr. Yost will discuss how, in the past year, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has continued to refine and update its approach to the survey and enforcement process in an effort to "simplify" the Rules of Participation. These updates represent a sea change in the way that nursing homes will need to approach their annual and complaint surveys. This session will explore the details of these updates, and provide practical ways to ensure that nursing homes address these issues and remain compliant.
This summit will feature a schedule of education programs presented by nationally recognized healthcare speakers and associate businesses and members of The Beacon Institute. Participants will have an opportunity to engage in pertinent, current subject matter, and earn CLE credits.
