Marcus Lee to Present at IAKL General Conference on Workplace COVID Vaccine Requirements
San Francisco, Calif. (September 10, 2021) – San Francisco Partner Marcus Lee will present at the virtual International Association of Korean Lawyers (IAKL) annual conference on September 30 at 6:30 p.m. PT.
In a 70-minute session titled “Workplace COVID vaccine requirements –Immediate & Longer-Term Implications of COVID-19 on the Legal Industry,” Mr. Lee and his co-panelists will discuss how employers are focused on ensuring workplace safety, while balancing concerns over privacy and personal autonomy. While some are looking to maintain the remote-work models that were adopted out of necessity due to the pandemic, others are looking at vaccination or testing requirements to keep people safe in a traditional workplace.
The International Association of Korean Lawyers connects lawyers of Korean heritage from around the world. Since its first conference in 1988 in New York City, the IAKL has held annual conferences that have brought together participants with diverse backgrounds.
Mr. Lee is head of the San Francisco office’s Korean Business Practice, specializing in labor and employment. He maintains dual licensure in California and Nevada, defending and counseling clients in all employment-related matters – litigation, risk management, and compliance. Mr. Lee has tried cases ranging from sexual harassment, gender/age/race discrimination, wage and hour disputes, to background checks in both U.S. federal courts and state courts.
