Malinda Miller to Chair ACI Briefing on Long Term Care Regulation
Newark, N.J. (September 13, 2021) – Newark Partner Malinda Miller will co-chair a full-day virtual conference on long term care legal and regulatory trends, hosted by American Conference Institute (ACI) on October 14.
The webcast will begin with opening remarks from the co-chairs at 10:00 a.m. ET, and features eight sessions with healthcare attorneys, claims professionals, physicians, and risk management consultants. There will be a designated networking session, and CLE credits will be available.
This informative event will cover the current state of the union of COVID-19 lawsuits, the CMS nursing home star rating controversy, staff retention dilemmas, and crisis management techniques. Ms. Miller and her co-chair will facilitate discussions on evaluating vaccine mandates and potential liabilities, the psychological effects of the pandemic on nursing home residents, and building a crisis management guide for nursing homes to rebuild confidence.
Ms. Miller is chair of the Healthcare, Medical Malpractice and Long-Term Care & Elder Law Practices, and has a depth of experience in the defense of long-term care and assisted living facilities.
