Lindsay Nickle to Speak on Cyber Threats at DRI Annual Meeting
New Orleans, La. (October 10, 2019) – Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Partner Lindsay B. Nickle will speak at DRI 2019 Annual Meeting taking place at the New Orleans Marriott Hotel on October 16 - 19.
Ms. Nickle’s presentation, titled “Cybersecurity: An Evolving Threat Landscape,” will begin at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, October. During this discussion, Ms. Nickle will cover the ever-changing cyber threat landscape and highlight threat vectors widely used against all industries. She will also offer helpful recommendations for preventive measures.
This event will offer presentations from leading experts and plenty of networking opportunities throughout the weekend. Attendees can earn up to 10 hours of CLE credit, including up to 3 hours of ethics credit. DRI, known as “The Voice of the Defense Bar,” is the leading organization of defense attorneys and in-house counsel. It aims to educate defense law practitioners, improve the civil justice system, and promote professionalism and ethics in the service of law.
Ms. Nickle is a partner is Lewis Brisbois’ Dallas office and has extensive experience overseeing the process of investigating data security events, including assisting clients with interpreting the myriad state and federal laws that govern data breach response.
