Lindsay Nickle and Chris Ballod to Present at Advisen Cyber Risk Conference in San Francisco 

San Francisco, Calif. (January 29, 2020) – Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Partners Lindsay Nickle and Christopher Ballod will both speak at Advisen’s 2020 Cyber Risk Insights Conference in San Francisco on Wednesday, February 12.

Mr. Ballod will moderate a panel discussion titled “Claims in Focus: Managing a Vendor Breach,” beginning at 11:45 a.m. He and a panel of experts will discuss practical considerations when dealing with a security incident involving a vendor, with a particular focus on contractual considerations and insurance coverage issues.

Ms. Nickle’s presentation, titled “Cybersecurity and the Future of Democracy,” will begin at 1:15 p.m. Ms. Nickle will discuss the potential cyber threats facing America's democracy and offer  insights as to how the integrity of elections can be assured. Ms. Nickle is also a member Advisen’s Advisory Board and assisted in the planning and execution of this conference.

This San Francisco edition of the Cyber Risk Insights Conference will emphasizes technology, innovation, and the regulatory environment, all of which set California and the West Coast apart in the cyber risk and insurance world. Lewis Brisbois is a Silver sponsor of this conference.
