Lewis Brisbois Team to Co-Host California ADA Seminar with Korean Investors and Traders Association

Los Angeles, Calif. (September 8, 2023) – Los Angeles Partner Scott Lee will moderate a panel about the California American Disability Act (ADA), where he will be joined by Sacramento Partner Shane Singh and San Diego Partner Heidi Inman. This presentation will be co-hosted by the Korean Investors & Traders Association of Southern California (KITA) on September 20 at 4:00 p.m. P.T. 

This informative event, titled “California American Disability Act (ADA) 101 – Common ADA Issues to Avoid,” will discuss how organizations can promote inclusion and equal opportunity while striving to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Mr. Lee serves as co-chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Korean Business & Litigation and Lithium-Ion Battery Practices, and is a member of the firm’s Partnership Committee and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. He is the founding member of the Korean Business Group which currently has a number of Korean American attorneys in multiple offices across the country. He has successfully handled numerous matters involving substantial sums and currently represents some of the largest companies from Korea with various matters in the U.S.

Mr. Singh handles a variety of cases ranging from disability discrimination (ADA), employment law, business litigation, and real estate to bodily injury matters. His representative clients include national retailers and a number of local businesses and emerging companies, and he has also has represented various restaurants on various matters from labor and employment to premises, liability, and two business transactions.

Ms. Inman serves as vice-chair of the General Liability Practice. She is actively involved in the ADA Compliance and Defense group and handles ADA defense and housing matters. Ms. Inman is experienced in handling products liability, general liability, trucking accidents, HOA disputes, construction defects, and property management related issues. She also has experience in mass tort litigation.
