Lewis Brisbois’ National Corporate Team Closes Series of Complex Transactions

Los Angeles, Calif. (March 26, 2021) - Lewis Brisbois’ national Corporate team, comprised of Los Angeles Partner Alexis Crump, Fort Lauderdale Partners Michael Platner and Kenneth Joyce, San Diego Partner Christopher Gabbard, San Francisco Partner John Heber, Los Angeles Associates Steven Novak and Morgan Gray, as well as Phoenix Associate John (J.J.) Daller, has recently closed a series of complex transactions , achieving favorable outcomes for several firm clients.

First, Ms. Crump, Messrs. Platner, Gabbard, Heber and Novak, and Ms. Gray, closed the multimillion-dollar sale of a large and well-known mailbox design and manufacturing company to a publicly traded competitor.

In another transaction, Mses. Crump and Gray, along with Messrs. Gabbard, Heber, and Joyce, closed the sale of a Florida-based concierge veterinary hospital for an eight-figure sales price. The veterinary hospital is known for its certified specialists in veterinary surgery, oncology, internal medicine, radiology, behavior, neurology, ophthalmology, physical rehabilitation, and sports medicine. The purchaser has acquired several similar veterinary hospitals throughout the country.

Additionally, Mses. Crump and Gray worked with JLL Capital Markets, a global real estate services company, to close the eight-figure sale of a Santa Monica, California office building to a Silicon Valley tech company.

Finally, Mses. Crump and Gray, along with Mr. Daller, closed the sale of an international toy company to a private equity group. The toy company specializes in children’s educational toys, games, and learning kits.
