Leiza Dolghih, Susan Briones to Present at Collin-Fannin County Medical Society Conference

Plano, Texas (February 7, 2020) – Dallas Partners Elisaveta Dolghih and Susan E. Briones will both present at the Collin-Fannin County Medical Society Conference on February 22 taking place at Collin College in Plano, Texas.

Ms. Dolghih will discuss paid sick leave trends, the Department of Labor’s new joint employer rule, new salary requirements for exempt employees, key developments in non-compete agreements, and other related issues.

Ms. Briones will offer best practices for healthcare providers regarding Texas’ new balance billing statute (SB 1264) which attempts to end “surprise” medical bills for consumers who have state-regulated health insurance plans.

Ms. Dolghih is a co-chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Trade Secrets & Non-Compete Disputes Practice and a frequent speaker on labor and employment law issues.

Ms. Briones is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Healthcare Practice, with over 15 years of experience defending healthcare providers facing liability claims, and providing legal assistance in employment, compliance, and contracting matters.
