Lauren Godfrey to Moderate ABA Webinar on Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Attorney-Client Relationships

Pittsburgh, Pa. (November 16, 2022) – Pittsburgh Partner Lauren D. Godfrey will moderate an American Bar Association (ABA) webinar titled “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Attorney-Client Relationships,” on Monday, December 12 at 1 p.m. ET.

In this informative 90-minute session, Ms. Godfrey will be joined by Professor Christine C. Goodman from Pepperdine University Rick J. Caruso School of Law, who will discuss how artificial intelligence can assist attorneys in their duty of competence. The panel will examine current and future uses of technology to address how identity influences decisions about charges, defenses, credibility assessments, and communications in lawyer-client relationships. CLE credits are available.

Ms. Godfrey is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice. She possesses the ANSI-accredited Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) and Certified Information Privacy Professional/European (CIPP/E) credentials from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Ms. Godfrey assists clients in responding to data security incidents, conducting initial assessments of data security problems, and facilitating forensic and/or remediation services required to contain, analyze, investigate, and remediate the incident.
