Kathryn Ender Appointed Vice Chair of Florida Bar’s Civil Procedure Rules Committee

Miami, Fla. (April 26, 2021) - Miami Appellate Practice Partner Kathryn (“Katie”) L. Ender has been appointed Vice Chair of the Civil Procedure Rules Committee of the Florida Bar for a one-year term that will begin on July 1, 2021. In this role, Ms. Ender will continue to serve the committee in fulfilling its function of evaluating and drafting proposed changes to the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure.

Ms. Ender expressed excitement about her appointment, noting, “The role of this committee is important to the Florida Bar and its civil practitioners. As a five-year member of this committee, it is an honor to be named as one of its leaders.”

Ms. Ender is a Florida Board Certified Specialist in Appellate Practice and has handled over 300 appeals in the Florida state courts and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. As part of her litigation support practice, Ms. Ender prepares and argues dispositive motions, motions in limine, jury instructions, and post-trial motions. She also provides interlocutory appellate support, and handles proceedings seeking original and extraordinary relief. In addition, Ms. Ender frequently presents and publishes on issues relevant to appellate litigation and enforceability of proposals for settlement.
