Katherine Funk, Carrie Meigs to Present on Contract Terms at NCPA 2019 Annual Conference

San Diego, Calif. (October 7, 2019) – Washington D.C. Co-Managing Partner Katherine I. Funk and Raleigh Partner Carrie E. Meigs will present at the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) 2019 Annual Conference taking place October 25-29 at the San Diego Convention Center.

Their discussion, titled “Ensuring Terms in Non-Dispensing Contracts Work for You,” will take place Saturday, October 26, at 3:00 p.m. During this presentation, attendees will learn basic contract terms and common misconceptions, how to differentiate between “data ownership” and “data usage,” and strategies for contracting with vendors, business partners, MSOs, and other entities.

Ms. Funk is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Antitrust & Competition Practice is a trusted advisor to corporate executives and in-house legal departments with more than 25 years of experience successfully navigating antitrust and business issues on behalf of clients in a range of industries. 

Ms. Meigs is a vice-chair of the firm’s Behavioral Health Practice and has significant experience working with individual health care providers and institutions in the field of behavioral health.
