Karen Bennett to Present at ACC Spring Coal Forum 2020 in Fort Lauderdale

Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. (February 27, 2020) - Washington, D.C. Partner Karen C. Bennett will give a presentation regarding the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) coal-related regulatory changes at the American Coal Council (ACC) Spring Coal Forum 2020, taking place March 3 to 5 at the B Ocean Resort in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Ms. Bennett's discussion will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 5 and will address several EPA coal-related regulatory changes that are expected to occur during 2020, including coal combustion residuals, Clean Water Act section 401 water quality certification, and effluent limitation guidelines.

Ms. Bennett is co-chair of both Lewis Brisbois’ Environmental & Administrative Law Practice and its Government Relations Practice. Her practice centers on resolving regulatory problems for clients, focusing primarily on permitting, compliance, litigation, and legislative and regulatory policies.
