Kamran Salour & Mandy Cartwright to Speak at ELN Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Data Protection Retreat

Orange County, Calif. (September 8, 2023) – Co-Chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice Kamran Salour and Vice Chair Mandy Cartwright will speak at the Enterprise Leadership Network (ELN) Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Data Protection Retreat, hosted at Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa in California on September 12 starting at 8:30 a.m. PT.

Mr. Salour will join a panel for the first 50-minute discussion of the day, titled “Cyber Risk Management Will be a Top Priority for Business Leaders in 2023,” to cover best practices for cyber risk. In another 50-minute panel discussion at 11:45 a.m., titled “Phishing Continues to Be a Problem,” Mr. Salour and Ms. Cartwright will both join a panel to discuss best practices to identify and mitigate phishing attacks in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mr. Salour serves as Co-Chair of the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice. He focuses his practice on leading his clients through the incident response process. Armed with years of experience as a litigator, Kamran provides his clients with a unique perspective on data privacy and protection issues.

Ms. Cartwright serves as Vice Chair of the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice. Mandy counsels clients on cybersecurity incidents, privacy policies, privacy by design, data inventories and mapping, data retention and minimization, and privacy impact assessments. Mandy’s experience extends to technology transactions, data and software licensing/usage, and readying companies for mergers and acquisitions.
