Las Vegas, Nev. (August 25, 2020) – Las Vegas Partner Josh Cole Aicklen will moderate the annual Clark County Judicial Forum, taking place virtually on October 2. Hosted by the National Business Institute (NBI), this all-day event, titled “As Judges See It: Top Mistakes Attorneys Make in Civil Litigation,” will feature five Clark County district court judges discussing a range of topics related to litigation in their courts.
Subtitled "How to Impress the Judges and Build Your Reputation with the Court," the forum is divided into a morning and an afternoon session. The morning session, beginning at 9:00 a.m. PDT, will cover important local court procedures and provide tips on motion practice, pre-trial conferences, case scheduling, briefs, and more. The afternoon session, beginning at 1:00 p.m. PDT, will focus on legal ethics, sanctions, witness and evidence management, jury selection, and more.
This unique course will give attendees an inside look at the expectations and preferences of the triers of fact, helping them to make the best of their litigation efforts in Clark County and beyond. CLE credits are available for this online event.
