Jonathan Goins to Co-Host NBA Corporate Counsel Leadership Summit

Atlanta, Ga. (July 21, 2022) – Atlanta Partner Jonathan D. Goins will take part in the National Bar Association’s (NBA) 14th Annual Corporate Counsel Leadership Summit, held on July 24 in conjunction with the NBA’s 97th Annual Convention at The University of Memphis Law School. In addition to co-hosting the event, Mr. Goins will join the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Foundation Director, Jennifer Chen, to present on recent diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts in the legal industry.

The Summit will also feature corporate counsel from Starbucks, Google, the Tennessee Titans, GE Renewable Energy, and Nationwide Insurance discussing such topics as recent M&A deals, ESG, and succession planning. Mr. Goins will also speak at the NBA's Annual Convention on July 25, joining a panel titled, “Protecting and Monetizing the Brand of Your Sports Clients,” sponsored by Celsius Inc. and moderated by its general counsel.

Mr. Goins serves as a vice chair of Lewis Brisbois' Intellectual Property & Technology and Entertainment, Media & Sports Practices. With two decades of experience, he regularly oversees litigation matters nationally involving intellectual property, technology, entertainment, and complex business disputes. As a trusted business advisor, he also negotiates IP rights in multimillion-dollar transactions and manages large-scale portfolio registrations covering a wide variety of industries. Mr. Goins is consistently ranked in peer-recognitions for his expertise in IP, including the World Trademark ReviewBest Lawyers in America, and Georgia Super Lawyers.
