Jessica Beckwith & Jessica Beeler to Speak on “Problem Clients” at BASF Seminar

San Francisco, Calif. (September 5, 2019) – Los Angeles Partner Jessica L. Beckwith and San Francisco Associate Jessica L. Beeler will speak at a midday seminar on October 23, hosted by the Arbitration Section and Legal Ethics Committee of the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) at the BASF Conference Center in the Financial District. Ms. Beckwith and Ms. Beeler will join a panel for a discussion titled “Problem Clients: How to Handle Them and What to Do If the State Bar Gets Involved.”

The seminar will cover ethical considerations in client communications, how to properly handle client complaints to the State Bar, and the options available to attorneys if the State Bar does get involved. Any attorneys with client contact will benefit from this seminar as they are all likely to encounter a problem client at some point in their careers and will need the right tools to handle the situation properly and ethically. Attendees can also earn MCLE credit.

Ms. Beckwith is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Professional Liability Practice. She focuses on attorney regulation and ethics, as well as advising attorneys and law firms on matters relating to State Bar complaints, fee disputes, disciplinary matters, disqualification issues, bar admissions, and other licensing, ethics, and professional responsibility issues.

Ms. Beeler a member of the Professional Liability Practice with extensive litigation experience, focused primarily on the defense of attorneys and other professionals, including insurance agents and brokers, accountants, architects, and real estate agents and inspectors.
