Healthcare Partners to Present on Enforcing Arbitration Agreements at CAHF Summer Conference

Los Angeles, Calif. (July 13, 2023) – Los Angeles Partners Jeffrey S. Healey and Kathleen M. Walker will speak at the California Association of Health Facilities (CAHF) 2023 Summer Conference on July 16 at 1:00 p.m. PT in San Diego, California.

In this informative session titled “Enforcing Arbitration Agreements,” Mr. Healey and Ms. Walker will join a panel to explain the benefits of using pre-dispute arbitration agreements and best practices for using such agreements in an effective and lawful manner. CLE credits are available.

Mr. Healey is a member of the Long-Term Care and Healthcare Practices. He has extensive experience litigating toxic tort, mold and construction development cases. Mr. Healey handles all aspects of defense litigation involving physicians, hospitals, medical groups, and skilled nursing facilities.

Ms. Walker is a chair of the firm's Healthcare, Medical Malpractice, and Long-Term Care Practices. Her litigation practice is devoted to representing the interests of long-term care facilities including SNF, RCFE, AL, ICF and CCRC providers as well as all types of care providers including but not limited to acute care hospitals, mental health, home health, hospice, adult day care, group homes and individual licensed health care providers including but not limited to physicians, nurses, and therapists.
