George Pitcher to Lead "Lightning Round" Panel at OADC Annual Convention

Portland, Ore. (May 11, 2023) – Portland Partner George S. Pitcher will moderate a session at the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel (OADC) 2023 Annual Convention, taking place June 15 – 17 at the Sunriver Resort in Oregon.

Mr. Pitcher will lead an exciting “Lightning Round” of seven timely legal topics on June 16 at 11:15 a.m. PT, including employment law updates, paid leave in Oregon, dealing with difficult opponents when approaching settlements, and expert testimony.

The OADC is a nonprofit organization for defense-oriented civil litigators that addresses defense issues in Oregon. This annual event, which is open to OADC members only, offers an opportunity to network with colleagues and earn CLE credits.

Mr. Pitcher serves as a vice-chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Asbestos Litigation Practice. He focuses his practice on products liability, professional liability, and commercial litigation, acting as both national and local counsel to defendants in products liability litigation. Mr. Pitcher served as president of the OADC in 2019, and spent six years on its board of directors prior to becoming president.
