Employment Law Team to Present Webinar on ADA Website Litigation

New York, N.Y. (June 2, 2023) - New York Partner Peter T. Shapiro and Sacramento Partner Shane Singh will present a webinar on claims under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) pertaining to website accessibility on June 20 at 9:00 a.m. PT.

This virtual presentation will address a myriad of issues pertaining to the still flourishing world of ADA website litigation. After providing an overview of the background and evolution of the claims, the speakers will cover practical issues including how the litigations play out in different jurisdictions, what defense may be asserted successfully, insurance implications, and best practices for settlement.

Mr. Shapiro’s practice is concentrated in employment and professional liability law, commercial litigation, and appeals in New York and New Jersey. He has more than 30 years of litigation experience, with emphasis on the defense of employment discrimination, ADA access matters, non-compete, wage and hour, civil rights, trade secrets, legal malpractice, defamation, commercial, and miscellaneous professional liability matters.
