Ellen Greiper to Speak at AIA Women in Architecture Panel Event
New York, N.Y. (February 11, 2020) – New York Partner Ellen H. Greiper will join a three-person panel at an event on February 27 in Hicksville, New York, hosted by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Long Island Chapter, in conjunction with the AIANY Women in Architecture (WIA) Committee and the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
Beginning at 6:30 p.m., the panel discussion titled “Women Reshaping the Construction Industry,” will cover such topics as the challenges women face in the workplace, the resources available to women in the architecture and construction industries, and general information on contractor/architect relationships. Ms. Greiper, who is the president of NAWIC's New York Chapter, will speak to recent trends in construction law.
Ms. Greiper is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Construction Practice and has more than three decades of experience defending multi-party construction and construction defect cases. She is a prolific author and frequent speaker on emerging issues in the construction industry.
