Ellen Greiper Named Fellow of Prestigious Construction Lawyers Society of America
New York, N.Y. (September 11, 2020) – New York Partner Ellen H. Greiper has been named a Fellow of the prestigious Construction Lawyers Society of America (CLSA). CLSA is an invitation-only construction lawyer honorary society with membership limited to 1,200 practicing Fellows from around the world.
Selecting experienced and highly qualified lawyers to join its Fellowship, CLSA provides a platform for scholarly authorship of legal articles on construction practice, promotes superior advocacy and ethical standards in the practice of law, assists in community involvement by its members, and takes relevant positions on issues or legislation affecting judicial compensation as well as those affecting the American litigation processes. Fellows are selected and invited into Fellowship after being evaluated for effectiveness and accomplishment in construction law, and ethical reputation.
Ms. Greiper is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Construction Practice. She has more than three decades of experience defending multi-party construction and construction defect cases in the state and federal courts of New York. A prolific author and frequent speaker on emerging legal issues, Ms. Greiper was recently appointed to be President of the Greater New York/Long Island chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) for a second consecutive term. She was also recently appointed to serve on Advisen’s Casualty Currents Executive Board and on the first ever all-female advisory board for Advisen’s Big Nasty Claims Conference.
