Ellen Greiper Appointed President of NAWIC New York Chapter

New York, N.Y. (July 19, 2019) - New York Partner Ellen H. Greiper was recently appointed President of the Greater New York/Long Island chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), an organization with over 6,000 members across the country focused on enhancing the success of women in the construction industry, from tradeswomen to business owners.

"It is an honor to receive this appointment," said Ms. Greiper," and I look forward to continuing NAWIC's mission of advancing the cause of all women in the construction industry."

Ms. Greiper is a member of Lewis Brisbois' Construction and General Liability Practices. She has more than three decades of experience defending multi-party construction and construction defect cases in the state and federal courts of New York.  

In addition to this recent appointment, Ms. Greiper was named to NAWIC's Board in November 2018. She is also a member of several other professional industry organizations, including the Construction Specifications Institute, DRI’s Construction Defect Committee, and Professional Women in Construction, where she serves on the Board of Directors of its New York Chapter, the organization’s founding and largest arm.
