Elizabeth MacGregor, Mark Oertel to Present at CLM Construction Conference in San Diego
San Diego, Calif. (September 4, 2019) – Portland Partner Elizabeth D. MacGregor and Los Angeles Partner Mark A. Oertel will both speak at the upcoming 2019 CLM Construction Conference on September 26 at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina Hotel.
Ms. MacGregor’s panel presentation, titled “Construction Wrap Trends: What’s Working, What’s Not,” will begin at 10:45 a.m. She and fellow panelists will share their perspectives on and experiences with construction wrap policies, and also provide suggestions and tips for handling claims under wrap policies and identifying areas of concern, with suggestions for improvement.
Mr. Oertel’s panel will begin at 1:00 p.m. and is titled “Unintended Consequences of Going Green.” The discussion will explain how “going green” may affect claims, financial projections, and product claims related to green products, and the difficulty of meeting a building owner’s expectations.
Ms. MacGregor and Mr. Oertel are both members of Lewis Brisbois’ Construction practice.
