Donavan Eason Selected to Participate in Young Lawyers Division Leadership Academy of the State Bar of Georgia
Savannah, Ga. (December 3, 2020) - Savannah Associate Donavan K. Eason has been selected to participate in the 2021 Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Leadership Academy of the State Bar of Georgia. Through his participation in this program, Mr. Eason will have the opportunity to network with state and national leaders, develop his legal and leadership skills, and connect with his community.
The YLD Leadership Academy chooses its participants through a competitive application process, receiving applicants from all geographic areas of Georgia and various practice areas. The program currently has more than 500 alumni across the state, including partners in large and small law firms, sole practitioners, public defenders, assistant district attorneys, ADR specialists, and in-house counsel for Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Eason is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ General Liability and Transportation Practices. He currently serves as the Chairperson of YLD’s Committee on Disaster Legal Assistance, which provides legal aid to individuals who have been affected by disasters such as hurricanes and tornadoes.
