Donavan Eason Elected as Co-Chair of GDLA Section and Board of Trustees for Non-Profit

Savannah, Ga. (August 3, 2020) – Savannah Associate Donavan Eason was recently elected as co-chair of the Premises Liability Section of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association (GDLA), as well as elected to the Board of Trustees for the Zell Miller Foundation.

The GDLA is Georgia’s state affiliate of the Defense Research Institute (DRI), which brings Georgia defense lawyers together by networking, exchanging information, ideas, techniques of procedure and more.

The Zell Miller Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on advocating for Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship established by former Georgia Governor Zell Miller. Pictures from last year’s Legacy Gala, which honors Mr. Miller’s birthday and raises funds for the Foundation’s programs, are below.

Mr. Eason is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ General Liability Practice and has experience in defending actions pertaining to premises liability, automobile/trucking liability, and product liability actions.
