David Samuels Named President-Elect of Academy of Hospitality Industry Attorneys

Los Angeles, Calif. (November 22, 2021) – Los Angeles Partner David M. Samuels was recently named President-elect of the Academy of Hospitality Industry Attorneys (AHIA). He will serve a two-year term, which commenced in November 2021.

AHIA’s membership consists of attorneys across the United States who represent clients engaged in the hotel, restaurant, hospitality, travel, meeting, convention, and tourism-related industries. The organization is committed to promoting professionalism, education, and improved communication to create a network of experienced attorneys to improve legal services for these industries.

Mr. Samuels is a vice-chair of the Hospitality Practice, and a member of the Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practice. With over 30 years of litigation experience, he provides counsel to a wide range of clients in the hospitality, construction and insurance industries. He has won numerous jury and bench trials, and is routinely sought by excess insurance carriers to serve as “monitoring” counsel in high exposure/catastrophic injury cases.
