David Samani Appointed to New California Lawyer Association Ethics Committee

Los Angeles, Calif. (August 1, 2019) – Los Angeles Partner David D. Samani was recently appointed as a founding member of the newly-formed California Lawyer Association Ethics Committee. The committee was formed to advise, support, and educate the members of the California Lawyers Association in connection with their obligations under the Rules of Professional Conduct and related California law. Its formation was approved on June 20, 2019, by the Board of Representatives of the California Lawyers Association.

Mr. Samani will serve as the California Young Lawyers Association (CYLA) member for an initial term of one year. In that capacity, he will be representing the views and needs of California’s diverse community of new lawyers who have been practicing for 8 years or less.

Mr. Samani is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Professional Liability and Legal Malpractice Defense Practices. He is also a co-author of the California Legal Malpractice and Malicious Prosecution Liability Handbook, a publication providing an overview of the issues and law governing legal malpractice and malicious prosecution litigation in California.
